I’ve had a lot going on recently, but I wanted to knock out a quick blog post just to talk about what I’ve been up to and what I have coming up soon, as soon as I get a chance to actually create a few more things.
I recently got back from almost an entire month in Europe, and it was an amazing time. I don’t go to Europe that often, because I have three European instructors for my courses and I always feel bad putting myself in for European teachers when they live right there — so I give those opportunities to them. But this time I was covering for one of my instructors in London for a week, and then a week later we had the first-ever SANS EU OSINT Summit in Amsterdam.
The class was amazing — a great group. And the summit was just incredible. It was sold out; technically I think we were one over capacity. The facility was absolutely beautiful, with windows everywhere — the ceilings, the entire walls, everything was glass. The one downside is that it did get a little toasty in the afternoon. Other than that, though, it was fantastic, and for next year we’re definitely going to need a bigger facility. I believe they’ve already identified which one in Amsterdam we’ll use.
The talks were amazing and the atmosphere was great. I gave a four-hour workshop there on analyzing and assessing information, and it went really well. It was a fantastic time overall.
Now I’m home for a couple of weeks before I start traveling again, and I’m getting a chance to play catch-up. So you should see a couple of blog posts coming out over the next week or two on a few new things. I just wanted to post this and say I’m finally getting a chance to finish up a few of these projects.
