Most Western OSINT folks treat the Chinese-language web like it’s just an English version of the internet with different words on it. It isn’t. The good stuff (company registries, procurement awards, court and enforcement records, patents) gets indexed under Chinese names and Chinese pivot terms, on different engines and different official portals than the ones you and I default to.
And because a lot of people who work these cases don’t read Chinese (I sure don’t), I paired every query, keyword, and operator with an English translation. You can use the whole thing either way.
